Scan any field or value using the device’s bar code scanner (Ex. Model Number, Serial Number, etc.). The scanned value will automatically verify itself against the value in the database. If the values do not match, the scanned value will be stored as a change to be reconciled during the synchronization process. Manually verify any field or attribute using the device’s keypad (Ex. Model Number, Serial Number, etc.). If the SideARMDD™ user discovers an incorrect value, they are able to collect and verify the accurate value directly within the device. Select an item by scanning its property tag. Verification Mode allows a user to check out records from an ARMDD™ database and electronically verify a configurable set of fields or attributes. In this mode, SideARMDD™ users can: Scan any field or attribute value using the device’s bar code scanner. (Ex. Model Number, Serial Number, etc.) Manually collect any fields or attributes using the device’s keypad (Ex. Model Number, Serial Number, etc.) Select an item by scanning its property tag. "WalkDown" Mode is a SideARMDD™ feature that allows a user to check out records from an ARMDD™ database in order to electronically collect data for a configurable set of fields or attributes. "WalkDown" mode permits, SideARMDD™ users to: In addition to drastically increasing accuracy, the data management tools of SideARMDD™ could decrease the amount of time needed to collect data by 50% or more, depending on the number of data points that can be collected using a bar code scanner. Using SideARMDD™ will significantly increase the accuracy of data that is collected or verified in the field. ARMDD™ project databases can handle an unlimited number of SideARMDD devices simultaneously! Assures complete and secure traceability for both collected and verified information Complies with 21 CFR Part 11 standards for electronic records & electronic signatures SideARMDD™ available in multiple language packs Seamlessly synchronizes collected or verified data with any ARMDD™ project database Supports manual data collection utilizing a full onboard (56 key) alpha-numeric keyboard SideARMDD™ available in multiple language packs Supports capture and automated storage of multiple digital images per data point Utilizes ten different bar code scanning technologies Signature capture function. Digital imaging using the device’s built-in digital camera Manual entry using the device’s full onboard keyboard Information can be collected manually or electronically by using one or more of these available data input mechanisms. The amount and type of information that can be collected using this technology is unlimited. Configurable data fields ensure collection of all desired attributes for any targeted asset. Integrating SideARMDD™ with the ARMDD™ software enhances your ability to collect or verify asset information in all types of manufacturing, storage, and production facilities. This information can then be easily incorporated into any CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) or EAM (enterprise asset management) system. SideARMDD™ is a software tool developed by GKM, Inc. that uses the latest handheld technology to collect and organize information in the field. Ten types of bar code scanning Multiple modes for collecting and verifying desired data points Features
Retrieves information from any CMMS or EAM system when using the ARMDD™ data collection technologies SideARMDD™ Companion
SideARMDD™ Companion is a module within ARMDD™ that allows the user to specify a set of values (fields and/or records) that will be "checked out" to a SideARMDD™ device. The process of “checking out” a value locks that value in the database, ensuring that it may not be modified until it is checked back in (returned to ARMDD™). To further ensure data integrity, no field and value combination can be checked out to two SideARMDD™ devices at the same time. SideARMDD™ vs. Manual Data Collection
Collecting data electronically ensures both accuracy and speed. Minimizing the number of times any value is manually moved helps eliminate transcription errors, thus increasing data accuracy. "WalkDown" Mode
Verification Mode
When a SideARMDD™ user is finished collecting data in “WalkDown” mode, it can easily be synchronized back into the ARMDD™ project database. This synchronization process can either be performed as a “batch” function or synchronized as individual values. Interactive change logging allows users to view and accept potential changes either one-by-one or together as a group. When a SideARMDD™ user has finished verifying data, they can synchronize that data back into the ARMDD™ project database. The synchronization process can either be performed as a “batch” function or as individual values. Interactive change logging allows users to view potential changes and accept them individually or as a group. Electronic signatures are logged for all verified values and these values are locked (cannot be altered) within the project. (Verified values can be unlocked by a project database administrator should these values require change)
